John E. Lee, Chairman

Mr. J. Lee co-founded Beacon Allied Resources in 2002 after serving as the CEO of a manufacturing company from the time the company was acquired in 1981. Mr. J. Lee was a founder, shareholder and director of both this company and an affiliate for which he also served as CEO.

Previous employment assignments included senior management positions in Asia and Europe where he served as Group Managing Director for several divisions of a multinational corporation, manufacturing capital equipment. Mr. J. Lee has also served as a director of several companies, civic organizations, and development authorities in  the USA, Europe and Asia.

Mr. J. Lee earned an Engineering degree from the University of Bridgeport. He is the holder of several patents on agricultural and food processing machinery.

Robert E. Lee,  President & CEO

Mr. R. Lee co-founded Beacon Allied Resources in 2002 after serving as the Chief Financial Officer and President for a diversified manufacturing firm based in Savannah, Georgia. The company and its affiliates specialized in the manufacture and worldwide sales of industrial machinery. Mr. R. Lee was also a shareholder in the company and served in various capacities as an officer and director of the affiliated businesses for ten years, prior to selling his shareholder interests. Previous to experiences in manufacturing, Mr. R. Lee spent ten years as a commercial banker, specializing in commercial, international and workout banking.

Mr. R. Lee is currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, Vice-Chairman for the South Georgia District Export Council, National Steering Committee Director for the United States District Export Council, and Board Director and Comptroller for the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance. He is also a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Armstrong Atlantic State University.

Mr. R. Lee earned a BA degree from Washington & Lee University in 1980 and an MBA from the University of Dallas in 1982.
